3 Things You Can Do to Get Better Results From Your Training

3 Things You Can Do To Get Better Results from Your Training:

Use a Training Diary

- You won't know what is working and what is not working if you don't keep track of what you are doing.  Write everything down.

- Once you have established the habit of recording you can begin to experiment with your program.  In this way you can optimize your training program.  It will become individualized.

Set Specific Goals and Understand Your Why

- Why are you training?  It's not good enough to just do something.  You need a reason.

- What's the best way to get the outcome you want?  This is where its critically important you don't do things just because others do.

- Training has positives and negatives.  What are the positives and negatives of the type of training you are choosing?  Is there a better way to get where you want to be?

Avoid Trends

Its ok to sweat and to get sore from a workout.  Be careful though, sweating and being sore are not goals.  Sweating and soreness are specific to certain types of training, but not all!  I expect more from you.

Not all training makes you sweat! Not all training makes you sore!
